Why the naming
Every tool is a part of the vessel
No single part of a vessel gets it anywhere on its own. The anchor doesn't steer, the compass doesn't hold, the hull doesn't decide where to go, but take any one away and you're not going anywhere either.
That's the shape we want for openVESSL: small, independent tools that each do one real job well, released as their own open-source projects, named after whichever part of the ship they are.
Right now there's one part built. More get added as they're actually finished, not promised.
